Use of Sports Premium Funding at Windwhistle Primary School 2016/2017

 

Agreed aims of funding:

To further enhance our quality provision through a quality curriculum

To increase our broad base of participation throughout the school

To ensure sustainability beyond funding through a legacy of well trained staff

To increase the profile of sport throughout the school

 

Areas of expenditure:

  • Sports to Schools Coaches working alongside teachers
  • Variety of after school and lunch time clubs for all ages run by staff and Sports to School coaches.
  • Weekly assessments and next steps planning by Sports to School coaches
  • Change 4 Life clubs
  • School Sports Organising Crew
  • North Somerset PE Association membership
  • Ongoing CPD for all teaching and support staff with Sports to School coaches
  • Sports competitions within school, with our partner trust schools and at a regional level for all age groups
  • Staffing costs for matches and tournaments
