  • Our author, Andy Seed, is visiting Windwhistle on Wednesday 28th February for Windwhistle World Book Day to work with KS2 children.  We are VERY excited and looking forward to seeing him again!  He will return in the summer to work with Reception, Year 1 and Year 2

Message from the Headteacher

I am delighted to welcome you to the Windwhistle Primary School website.

We are a caring, supportive school where all staff work as a team with parents, governors and others to ensure the children grow into confident learners.

Visitors are always welcome, either in person or through the website; so step inside and get a taste of life at Windwhistle Primary School.  Browse around the different pages and come back to the website often to watch the site grow and get to know more about our staff and children. Please don’t forget to leave a message on our "Comments Board".

Our motto is "Achievement by Building Confidence" and we aim to achieve this for our children in all areas of school life. Every child is nurtured academically, socially and emotionally to support their development. We believe that children learn best through “doing”; we arrange visits to places to enable them to have first-hand experience of areas of the curriculum such as History and Geography. We also have regular productions from theatre companies so that the children can enjoy live performances of drama and music.

If you would like to contact the School you will find the details on our "Contact Us" webpage.
